Governance

The governing bodies of the Horn Center are the General Assembly and the Board of Directors that is accountable to the members of the Center and is elected every three years by the members pursuant to the By Laws of the Horn Center. Members of the Board represent a diversity of interests, including; civil society, the private sector, women’s organizations, development partners and academic institutions.

The Board of Directors oversees the implementation of the programs and activities of the Institute and monitors the utilization of resources. The Center also has an administrative arm to handle the logistics of facility management, human resources, payroll and information technology support.
