The Horncenter Dialogue Platform hosted a recurring program in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug, that takes place every four months. The theme of this particular program was ” Strengthening Galmudug’s Women and Youth as Agents of Peace.”
The well-attended event brought together a range of key stakeholders, including local and regional parliamentarians, cabinet ministers, the Dhusamareb municipal administration, and various segments of the diverse Galmudug community. During the substantive discussions, participants explored the topic thoroughly, with both the public attendees and community leaders sharing their perspectives and insights on how to better empower youth and women to become drivers of peace in the region.
