How We Do It
Our approach to peacebuilding is grounded in local ownership, inclusivity, and sustainability. We work closely with local communities, civil society organizations, and governments to identify and address the root causes of conflict and promote social cohesion. Our programs and initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of each context, and we prioritize building local capacity and promoting local leadership in all our activities.
We support local institutions by providing trainings and assistance in localization of governance i.e. district formation. By encouraging inclusive local governance through the establishment of district councils in Galmudug. We organize forums, panel discussions, and workshops to bring together stakeholders to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and find solutions to promote peace and stability in Somalia.
We disseminate research findings through policy briefs and presentations to inform policy and practice in Somalia
