HC aims to promote peace through conflict analysis, capacity building, and peace pillars mapping. They study root causes of conflicts and develop sustainable strategies.

They also train communities on non-conflict resolution skills. In 2022, HC undertook peace pillars mapping in areas such as security, rule of law, social reconciliation, state-building processes, and decentralization for the Road to Peace (R2P) Program.
